It's my joy to create warm, cinematic images that feel like home.
From the first time I met Jake & Erin, it was clear that they really cared about having great wedding photos to print and share. I remember them being nervous about photos, but when they showed up to their engagement session beaming and so excited to be with one another I knew it was going to be a breeze.
My style is nontraditional, a little moody, & very artistic, so shooting a church wedding in midtown isn’t exactly my norm. But that didn’t matter at all. Jake & Erin completely trusted me to capture their day and made me feel like a close friend throughout the whole process. Erin’s mom was just a doll and made sure I was taken care of. It was such a great wedding to be part of & watching Jake and Erin shine in front of their friends & family was such a delight.
For their first look, Erin let me know she didn’t want a typical first look- their reception venue had this great terrace with a skyline view and she wanted to stand facing opposite ways and turn towards each other. Their reactions were sooooo sweet & it felt less forced than first looks can sometimes feel.
To top it all off, I got to work with some of my favorite vendors! It was a great wedding day and I am so excited to share some of my favorite images with you.
