It's my joy to create warm, cinematic images that feel like home.
There’s something so beautiful about contrast- “the state of being strikingly different from something else.” I think photography has always been a form of self-discovery for me, whether I knew it or not. I’ve always loved witchy things alongside feminine things. Flowers and Halloween. It’s beautiful how we can be something so completely different from the other, all inside one person or thing. For couples, it amazes me how opposites can really work well together, and how other people seem almost identical to their partners. Michael & Ryann are so different, yet so synchronous. I had so much fun chatting with them about home ownership & their renovation, their wedding, and life in general. We bounced around Atlanta — from East Atlanta Village to Cabbagetown, and ending with margaritas at Superica. There’s an energy to these photos that comes from the energy they brought, the locations we chose, the time of day, and the way these images were captured. I loved finding the right spots to accentuate the contrast of the light against the two of them, or the scenery around them. I hope you love it, too!
