It's my joy to create warm, cinematic images that feel like home.
Chris & Alisha found me through another wedding I shot last fall and knew right off the bat they wanted me to shoot their wedding. There’s no greater feeling than that as an artist and businesswoman. I knew from the second I met them that their wedding would be right up my alley- gorgeous details, laidback vibe, and a true celebration.
The ceremony was intended to take place outside, but the Georgia weather had other plans for the day. Picture this- I show up to the venue to find the bride and her MOH (and planner) setting up the ceremony space. The bride, Alisha, is cool as a cucumber. No lie. I was like, what? This is amazing. While they’re rearranging the setup, I ask for the items for detail shots, which are already nicely organized for me to shoot (again, what? Amazing!). Then the bride handed me a box with a little gift for me. SERIOUSLY? No offense, but best clients ever! The day was a breeze… I mean, these guys had been dating for ELEVEN years before this day. They were so kind and ready to have fun with all their friends and family. Being a part of a day like this is just magical to me. It’s why I do what I do.
I call weddings love parties and this wedding definitely lived up to that name. I hope you enjoy perusing these images as much as I enjoyed taking them.
