I am once again here to share photos of a man with flowers. I am so obsessed with this vibe and fully leaning into it. The photos at the end of this set – with Gerald using a prism & flowers- are some of my favorite photos I’ve ever made. Playing with the softness and balance of masculinity and femininity we all encompass makes me feel like I’m tapped into something important and beyond me. Black men are especially vulnerable to toxic masculinity and seeing Gerald embrace fully every single thing I asked him to do, and looking back at the photos literally made me cry. Thank you Gerald for being vulnerable and open, and being an amazing model. And thanks to Simon for being the stylist on this one. I love you both!
