Tristan + Stefani, Southern California Beach Wedding Photographer

Tristan & Stefani’s wedding day was one of my favorites ever. I met Tristan around a decade or so ago through mutual friends in a Georgia-based band called BABY BABY. We both were photographing them and friends with them. Then a few years later, I was working at an editing lab and hear we have a new guy coming in. Color me surprised when that new guy was none other than Tristan Ervin himself! We were all so proud of him when he decided to move to California and follow his dreams. Not too long after that, Tristan came to Georgia on a trip and wanted to introduce us all to Stefani. From the moment i met her, I felt like she was one of the nicest people I’d ever met and I still believe that to this day. On a trip to California a couple years ago, I got to photograph the two of them right before they got engaged, and last summer I got to capture their engagement photos in Big Sur. Not every wedding I shoot gets to feel so personal to me, but this one was wonderful. Several familiar faces from Georgia were there and I just felt like a friend celebrating with them. Always grateful for experiences like this one and so happy to share my take on Tristan & Stefani’s magical wedding day.
