It's my joy to create warm, cinematic images that feel like home.
Something that I’ve had a curiosity about for a long while is the construct of gender. I minored in Sociology in college and that curiosity blossomed into challenging my own notions of presentation and, in my work, representation. I think it’s beautiful as hell that our culture is ever-shifting to be more open and accepting. I realized that I photograph a lot of women in this very vulnerable, expressive place when I do boudoir sessions and I wanted to create a space for men and non-binary people to be able to open up, too. I don’t want gender or non-gender to create scarcity in feeling uplifted, empowered, and celebrated in all that you are. Also, a great opportunity to use some flowers and my disco ball. Thanks to Chase for sharing this experience with me!
