It's my joy to create warm, cinematic images that feel like home.
I constantly have the urge to travel. I’m not big on material goods. Aside from books and photography equipment, I couldn’t care less about “things”. My money goes to travel, art, and good food. I think I’m okay with that.
This year for a fun sisters trip, my sister Taylor and I decided to go to Los Angeles. Once there, we would visit Disneyland, Joshua Tree, the coast, find some flowers, and explore downtown Hollywood. This is a mix of digital & film photographs from our trip. I had so much fun and am excited to share these with you! 🙂
(All photos of me were taken by Taylor. The rest, of course, were taken by me.)
From our plane, we got our rental car and drove straight to the coast. We sat at Venice Beach and watched the sunset.
Our second day in California was spent exploring Hollywood and Disneyland. These are cell phone photos of the day.
and then there was Joshua Tree. one of the most expansive, glorious places I’ve ever been.
on a rainy day, we drove up the coast to Malibu and had brunch before wandering around for the day.
Our last day in LA was rainy, but the forecast in San Diego was sunny, so we drove down to a flower field (of ranunculus, so amazing) outside of San Diego and then into the city. We had the best burritos and churros and drove back up the coast. (I still had a few shots left on the roll of our stop in Laguna Beach, so I’ll have to share those later!)
Thanks for looking!
XO,
Ashley
