Allie: Newborn
The Powers family have been extraordinary clients of mine for a couple of years now. I have so enjoyed photographing their girls, Elyn & Tessa, and was so excited to photograph baby Allie. Amanda came to me with the notion that she just wanted simple, sweet images of her baby girl and said my favorite words, “I trust you.” Immediately I knew that I wanted to incorporate flowers into the session and keep the setup as basic & simple as possible.
I reused flowers I had leftover from a brunch with girlfriends (picked up from the Dekalb Farmer’s Market!) and made a wreath of mini carnations and roses. Amanda rocked Allie to sleep and laid her in the middle of the flowers and my vision came to life, even better than I expected. I love these images of baby Allie & can’t wait to take more photos of the whole family next month!
