It's my joy to create warm, cinematic images that feel like home.
The first time I met David and Jen, we share charcuterie and drank prosecco (at least I did) and bonded over our love for creepy things. These two are getting married in one of my favorite places in Atlanta next spring — Historic Oakland Cemetery. I remember walking home from that first meeting and thinking, “Man, I hope they book me. What a dream that my job gets to be this fun!” So when I heard back from them and heard their ideas for their engagement session and their ties to parts of the city I also adore, I got stoked about their engagement session, too. The day of their shoot came and as we all know, Georgia weather can be a fickle beast. It was gloomy all day with no forecast for rain, and it rained on the way to meet them for the session. We decided to go for it anyways and I’m so glad we did! We laughed the entire time and had so much fun exploring the city. Every single time I shoot at the Majestic Diner I’m pulled into the swoony, mood of the cinematic color and depth which reminds simultaneously of In the Mood for Love and Baby Driver. I’m ecstatic about these and I hope you love them, too.
